Chess pie



Ingredients
  • 1unbaked pie shell
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp corn meal
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Place pie crust on baking sheet and cover edges loosely with strips of aluminum foil.
  • You can skip this step and just keep an eye on the pie- if it starts to get too brown cover pie loosely with sheet of foil.
  • Mix all of the ingredients and pour into pie shell.
  • Bake at 325 for 50-55 minutes, or until set.
